Meet The Groom

Jon's story isn't just about where he's from—it's about all the places he's called home. A military brat with a heart for adventure, he's lived everywhere from the historic streets of San Antonio to the scenic landscapes of Germany. This life on the move gave Jon a love for exploring and an easy-going attitude that Breanna just couldn't resist. He's a guy who finds joy in the journey, whether it's a trek across continents or a simple walk in the park.

What got him hooked on Breanna? Her infectious energy, her ability to see the best in everyone, and her laugh lights up the room. He's pumped about getting married and starting this new chapter, filled with travels, laughs, and all the good times that come with growing old with your best friend.

  • Born and mostly raised in San Antonio, Texas. I was a military brat so around 9 or 10 I started moving around a lot more to places like Germany, Georgia, and Washington.”

  • "I fell in love with Breanna a long time ago. She is one of the few people I can be myself around. It's easy to say that it was always the plan to marry her, but if I had to point to a time when I knew without a doubt it was going to happen, it was when she came back to San Antonio in 2016 after graduating while I was still in school. The consistency of her presence made me realize I don't ever want to be without it. Since I was a kid my dad always told me and my brother that there were three things we needed to do before we got married. Finish College, Establish a Career, and Buy a House. I graduated from UTSA in December of 2019 and got my first Engineering position in October of 2020, and as for the house, that's something I want to do with the love of my life. To be the husband I wanted to be, I owed it to her to finish school and establish financial stability. If you were to ask anybody I'm close with they would tell you how many plans and schemes I went through trying to design the perfect proposal for her, pick the perfect ring, and find the perfect moment. All that to say, 2 1/2 years into my career I finally did what I have been wanting to do for almost 10 years and asked her to spend the rest of our lives together."

  • "Breanna is one of the most loving, intelligent, and ambitious people I have ever met. She truly cares about people and their well being. For the loved ones in her life she would go to hell and back for them. She's someone I can bounce ideas off of and have meaningful conversations with. When she wants something, she carves a path to get it and I admire her for that. She's also a comedian behind closed doors. She has helped shape me into the man I am today."

  • "I'm ready to experience so much more with her by my side. Though we have experienced so much together up until this point, it truly feels like we're just getting started."

  • "I see us traveling the world together, helping one another grow, and continuing to push each other to accomplish everything we want in life. And when we are ready to start a family, I couldn't ask for a better woman to be the mother of my kids.

Meet The Bride

Breanna is your laid-back, sun-loving Cali girl who's made her home in Texas. She's all about good vibes, great music, and those endless chats that turn into something beautiful. For Breanna, it's the little things about Jon that count - his easy-going nature, his constant support, and his ability to make every moment a bit brighter. As they head towards their wedding, she's excited for all the shared adventures ahead, from rocking out at concerts to creating new memories worldwide.

  • "Cali made, Texas raised" I was born in Redlands, California, but I've spent most of my life in Texas, but I'm still a self-proclaimed "Cali girl". If you ask Jon, he'll tell you I'm a "Texas girl now", but I still hold onto my California roots.

  • “From the very beginning, Jon and I were drawn to each other. We had this instant connection that made it easy for us to talk and get to know one another. We would text all day and fall asleep on the phone together. We initially connected over our love of music and he made me a couple of mixtapes (that I still have) and it grew from there. He truly became my best friend and I could be so vulnerable with him. I'd find myself thinking, life was funnier, sweeter, and all around better with him around, and I wanted to keep it that way. I don't think there was a defining moment, but a gradual build-up; the more time we spent together, the less I wanted to spend a part.”

  • “I love how open and honest he is. He's not afraid to look silly or try something new, and he doesn't care what others think of him. He always encourages me to be my best self and reassures me that together we can make a way to face ANYTHING that life throws at us. There's just something about his essence that exudes a level of self-assurance and confidence and I really admire that about him”.

  • Continuing to explore life together as we navigate through everything God has in store for us. We've basically grown up together; we've endured high school, college, getting our first jobs, learning how to drive, and so much more together. I look forward to the many adventures that will come.

  • Parenthood, Homeownership, lots of concerts, traveling and just laughing and growing together as a union.
